Booking & retainer

• A $200 nonrefundable booking retainer secures your wedding date.
• A signed bridal contract and the retainer are both required before your date is officially reserved.
• You do not need a final headcount to book. An estimated number of services is helpful and can be updated as plans come together.

Your included trial

• Your bridal trial is included in the bridal makeup price and can be scheduled after your date is secured.
• Trials are typically scheduled 4–6 weeks before the wedding; earlier is welcome.
• Allow about 1–1.5 hours. Your trial includes a full makeup application and lashes.
• Bring inspiration photos and arrive with clean, moisturized skin. A white or neutral top is recommended to preview your bridal look.

Timing & setup

• I’ll help create a makeup timeline based on your final number of services.
• Plan about 40 minutes for each bridal party member and about 1 hour for the bride.
• The bride is typically scheduled toward the end so her makeup is fresh for photos.
• I arrive early for setup and sanitation. A table or workspace and a nearby outlet are appreciated.
• Larger bridal parties may need an additional artist to keep the morning relaxed and on schedule.

Travel distance is calculated there and back from my home base. Hotel accommodations may be needed for longer distances.

Nonrefundable deposits

• Event & Everyday Glam: $50 nonrefundable deposit.
• Bridal makeup: $200 nonrefundable deposit and a signed bridal contract.
• Your deposit is applied toward your total—it is not an extra fee. An inquiry alone does not reserve your date.

Paid before your glam day

• For event & everyday glam and bridal makeup, the remaining balance is due by 12:00 noon the calendar day before your appointment or wedding.
• If your booking is accepted after that deadline, full payment is due when the booking is confirmed.
• Payment instructions will be sent directly with your booking details.

If your plans change

• Send cancellations and service reductions directly to Kenz in writing by text to 217-725-7992. The date received determines the notice period.
• Event & Everyday Glam: the $50 deposit is nonrefundable for client cancellations. Any additional cancellation terms follow your accepted booking agreement.
• Bridal, more than 30 days before the wedding: the $200 deposit is retained for a full client cancellation; payments above it are refunded, subject to the credits and exceptions in your contract.
• Bridal, 30 days or fewer before the wedding: full payment for canceled confirmed reserved services or an agreed minimum is due, including individual bridal party cancellations and no-shows. Payments already made count toward the amount due.
• Bridal cancellation amounts are reduced by avoided expenses and applicable net replacement booking revenue, as set out in your contract. Any reconciliation and refund are provided within 14 days after the original event date.

Rescheduling requests

• Contact Kenz in writing as soon as possible. A new date is subject to availability and written agreement.
• A request alone does not reserve a new date, release the original booking, or automatically transfer your deposit.
• For bridal bookings, any transfer of payments and revised terms must be signed by both parties. A second full deposit is not automatically added to an agreed transfer.
• If no transfer is agreed and you cancel the original booking, its cancellation terms apply. Bridal trial changes should also be requested promptly; a missed trial does not cancel wedding services.
